We are currently producing Aric's script in our little community theater in rural TN. The show has generated a great deal of excitement in the community and solid ticket sales already. The script is well written and captures Bram Stoker's original story well. It has many characters and could be scaled up or down with double casting. Aric has been wonderful to work with in licensing the script for production and I would highly recommend working with him if you are considering staging a version of Dracula.
I am currently directing Bram Stoker's Dracula using this script by Aric Cushing, and we are about to open in three weeks at the Warren Arts Theater in McMinnville, TN. The script has a great pace, optional lines written in Romanian, and most importantly includes all of the classic characters - especially Quincey! The author has been very flexible and accommodating in terms of allowing us to exercise artistic freedom. The rights are also incredibly affordable - it will not cost you thousands of dollars to produce this play. I highly recommend it!
This is probably the closest to Bram Stoker's novel than any play or movie. For that alone, this play deserves to be produced and seen. It does require a good director or set designer to accommodate the many scenes but out of all the other adaptations, this one is the most loyal. It also nails the Dracula character as Bram Stoker wrote him. Kudos.

I play Mr. Swales in this play at Warren Arts in Warren County Tennessee. It moves quickly and it is a classic. It is perfect for Theater. When you add a sound track or live music it delivers a lot of power to the audience.
I play Simmons in the Warren Arts production of Dracula! Being Huge fans of the original story by Bram Stoker. I can say without a doubt it is the best adaptation of the original work. Would highly recommend.
My son is playing the role of “The Telegram Boy†in Bram Stoker’s Dracula. He is enjoying being a part of this well written show. I have had the chance to sit in on rehearsals and have immensely enjoyed this story as it unfolds. Can’t wait to see it when it opens in a few weeks. It has our small town excited to come see!!
Love it, the patter between all the characters is wonderful. Recommend it to anybody who wants to learn more about Dracula!
